Let’s dive in and start exploring the exciting world of parenting through the lens of personality styles!

Parenting is a challenging and rewarding journey that requires a lot of time, patience, and effort. It’s a world filled with endless adventures, heartwarming moments, and the occasional hair-pulling challenges. As parents, we pour our hearts and souls into nurturing our kids, hoping to guide them towards a future filled with happiness and success. However, the task of parenting can be overwhelming, especially when we don't understand our children's unique personality styles.

Picture this: a puzzle with four distinct pieces, each representing a different personality style. Meet the Dominant, the Inspiring, the Supportive, and the Cautious—the marvelous quartet that creates the model human behavior. Just like a fingerprint, each child possesses their own unique blend of these styles, shaping their strengths and quirks.

The Dominant
, a fiery force of determination and leadership. These children march to the beat of their own drum, embracing challenges with a fearless spirit. Rules? They might need a little convincing.

  • The Inspiring, a vibrant burst of energy and charisma. These social butterflies thrive on connections and have a natural flair for creativity. Routine? They'd rather let their imaginations run wild.
  • The Supportive, a gentle embrace of warmth and empathy. These natural caretakers radiate compassion and seek harmony in their interactions. Conflict? Not on their watch.
  • The Cautious, a meticulous mastermind of analysis and precision. These young thinkers excel in critical thinking and prefer structure in their lives. Change? They'll tread with caution.

By understanding our child's unique personality style, we hold the power to unlock effective communication, establish appropriate boundaries, and tailor our parenting approach to their needs. It's like having a secret decoder to decipher their inner world, allowing us to connect on a deeper level and nurture their growth.

Meredith: Hi my name is Meredith, and I have been using the parenting by design course to become a better parent, to figure out how my kids work and to understand how I am built as a parenting style with my kids. So, before I did this program I was just figuring out as I went along mostly. I'm a teacher so I use a lot of my teacher tools in theory with my kids, but sometimes those aren't the best tools to inspire or motivate children in your house. So, this course helped me to realize a lot about who I am, and also who my kids are. Sometimes it's tempting to think you know your kids and exactly how they operate. And sometimes when they take that assessment they realize wow now I didn't know my child works that way, and now that I do know that I can figure out how my personality style meshes with my daughter's personality style, and that makes for a lot more successful experiences throughout the day instead of using my personality style to dominate or or be in charge of her. So, by knowing what I learned from this course I've definitely grown a lot in knowing myself, and knowing where my child fits in her behavior and personalities as well as how she and I interact. I would definitely recommend this course to anybody who wants to know more about how to be a stronger parent, especially if you're struggling with your own parenting styles or if you are wondering what motivates your child. It's really hard sometimes to figure out younger children. I have a three-year-old and an eight year old daughter, but this really helped me to figure out where I can see my child, and how she can grow with my support instead of assuming how I should parent her, and also telling her what to do all the time. So, yes you should take this course! It will make you a better parent your relationship with your child will grow because you're not hiding over things that aren't their fault. If something is really important to your child, and you understand how it makes them tick, you won't you won't push it in the same way as you used to. So, yes take the course, it will make your relationship a lot stronger within your family and it will give you a lot better days as a parent
